Meet our horses at Bella Cavalli Farm in beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. Our horses are safe, fun and trained to ride both inside and outside the arena.
Figgy Pudding
​
Fig is a Welsh Cob Section D gelding trained through second level dressage and cross country and show jumping. He has traveled the country for pony club dressage and jumped around the cross country course at the Kentucky horse park. Many weekends he can be found galloping the hills with the Santy Ynez Valley Hounds.
​
Fig is a solid citizen and capable of teaching new students from beginners to those who wish to further their communication skills and learn the finer points of dressage.
​
He is very loved by all and has an incredible disposition.
​
Mimsy
​
Mimsy is a Welsh Pony mare who loves the attention of kids. She is patient and kind with the smallest students and has been many students first pony to ever ride on their own. She is quiet and slow for the younger children which makes her great for building confidence and teaching children how to ride and develop a solid correct riding position and independent hands and seat.
​
Mimsy also enjoys foxhunting with the Santa Ynez Valley Hounds on the weekends with her friend Fig. She is a solid pony club mount for beginning jumping and has shown through training level dressage.
​
Our younger students enjoy learning how to groom and saddle Mimsy as her size is great for smaller riders and her patience and kindness really builds confidence.
Nona
Nona is a KWPN, Dutch warmblood, mare trained and competed through Grand Prix level dressage. She has shown at the regional and national level in Grand Prix and is a lovely school master. For riders wanting to learn the upper levels of dressage and to refine their aids she is a fabulous teacher.

She is trained to the highest level of collection and balance and for students wanting to learn canter pirouettes, piaffe, passage and half pass to name a few she is the best.
​
Nona has earned several riders their bronze, silver and gold USDF medals.
​
Nona is currently offered for lessons, on site lease and for sale to someone looking to learn the upper levels of dressage.
Cello
​
Cello is an Argentine Thoroughbred gelding. His former life was spent playing polo with his friends. He now is trained through training level dressage, jumping, pony clubbing and can be found on the weekends galloping with Fig and Mimsy across the hills foxhunting.
​
He is a sweet and friendly horse who always greets his riders at the gate with a nicker. Cello has begun his show career in dressage and does great in groups with other horses.
​
Cello is currently half leased by one of our pony clubbers and is available for a half lease and or lessons for intermediate riders.
Eli
​
Eli is a Quarter Horse gelding. He has taught many students how to walk trot and canter or lope. He is comfortable both english and western and has a decent start in reining moves as well. He is a smooth and sweet gentleman with many gears and adjustability within his gaits. He is a great horse for students to gain confidence on and learn the basics of communication.
​
Eli is a big lovable teddy bear and is great both out of the arena and in the arena. A super pony club mount and a great size for beginner adults to gain confidence and improve their riding skills as well.
​
Eli is available for a full or half lease at Bella Cavalli Farm. Leasing is a great way to spend time and further your riding skills and abilities. Contact us if you are interested in learning more.
